Suspended seven meters above the ground, the installation comprises 3,600 eightfolded LED points, each encased in artificial shells. These luminous elements dangle from 400 steel wires, forming a mesmerizing canopy that bathes the forest floor in dynamic visuals. Accompanied by an evocative musical composition, the ever-shifting video projections envelop visitors, inviting them to become active participants in the artwork. Visiting the Nordic Pixel Forest
The installation is accessible daily from 7 AM to 11 PM, ensuring that both early risers and evening explorers can immerse themselves in its enchanting ambiance. To reach the Nordic Pixel Forest:
Public Transport: Board trams 13 or 19 to the Ekebergparken stop.
On Foot: From the tram stop, ascend towards the Ekeberg Restaurant. Take the path to the right and follow the trail leading up to the park's pond. The installation is situated in the forested area just above this pond.
Visitors are encouraged to stay on designated pathways to preserve the natural environment surrounding the artwork.
